How is it possible that my daughter sounds exactly like me, says exactly the same things I do, holds onto every gesture I make? Its because they relate to their mum’s. My son and I have many similarities but when he was growing up, he didn’t emulate every aspect of my existence as with my daughter.
She is truly a mini-me and whilst I absolutely adore most of it, I always ask myself what her teenage years will be like and what our relationship will look like? My daughter is an absolute fire cracker, very quick with her responses, definitely has inherited some of her brothers teenage traits, and so I find myself reprimanding my just turned 4 year old for her attitude more than anything else. So then I keep on telling myself that since I’m reprimanding her for her attitude from 4, it should be a breeze reprimanding a 14year old, as I will be such a pro by then.
